Beth Lebowitz

Founder + CEO

Beth Lebowitz is the CEO + founder of Auxana Inc., legal designed for business.

With Auxana and her virtual law firm, Nimbus Legal, she is creating an innovative solution for growth stage and mid-market companies by offering outsourced strategic general counsel services on a flat monthly fee subscription basis. No hourly overages. Her “why” is to give companies the tools for the intelligent consumption of legal services and to provide value.

She started her practice advising entrepreneurs and businesses on corporate and securities matters, including M&A transactions and private placements, helping launch several companies through seed and Series A rounds. A writer at heart, she loves working with entrepreneurs and innovative businesses, helping them tell the story of their idea through growth.

Auxana was born from an idea rooted in the needs of fast-growing companies reaching middle market stage: quick, proactive, practical, and efficient legal services on a transparent flat fee subscription basis. An outsourced General Counsel is a strategic resource for companies, utilizing existing company resources and technology to manage consumption of legal services. With Auxana, she wants to help attorneys in high growth markets achieve the same success and flat fee model, as well as support a thriving marketplace of attorneys and other professionals providing flat fee services with companies.

As an outsourced GC, Beth is involved in the day-to-day business decisions of her clients, providing proactive and real-time advice on operational, sales, and strategic risk management decisions. She works with companies to create processes for, negotiate, and manage customer and vendor contracts, corporate governance, and equity issuance and management.

Beth attended law school at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, at ASU, graduating magna cum laude. Originally from the Washington D.C. area, she attended Tulane University in New Orleans for undergrad and returns to the city each year for the music and food. She also lived briefly in London while working in politics and media. She loves brainstorming with friends, reading and collecting books, old blues records, spa days, food and wine with stimulating conversation, traveling for new adventures, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Fun Fact

As the first graduating class of Tulane following Hurricane Katrina, my commencement speakers were Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Ellen DeGeneres.  We love New Orleans and go to Jazz Fest each year for the music and food.
